Towards Sustainable Construction Materials: A Comparative Study of Prediction Models for Green Concrete with Metakaolin

چکیده
Cement-based materials are widely used in transportation, construction, national defense, and other fields, due to their excellent properties. High performance, low energy consumption, environmental protection essential directions for the sustainable development of cement-based materials. To alleviate pressure caused by carbon emissions cement production, this paper studies containing metakaolin a comparison prediction models compressive strength. more accurately evaluate strength materials, compares effects four models, namely, support vector machine (SVM), decision tree (DT), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), random forest (RF), with hyperparameters optimized Firefly Algorithm (FA) study metakaolin. The results demonstrated that RF model showed effect considering lowest RSME value highest R among hybrid predicting materials’ importance test grade water-to-binder ratio greatly influence compared design parameters.
